The word Gynecomastia originates from Greek word gynaik and mastos which means "woman breasts", and is a medical condition caused by the development of an abnormally large mammary glands found under the flesh in the males chest area. Gynecomastia is not usually a health threat but it is the most difficult condition to get rid of without the use of expensive surgery. However don't panic yet, because the good news is it is estimated that only approximately?% of all males that have man boobs actually have genuine Gynecomastia and the other 90% of males tying to find the answer their chest problems"? more commonly have Pseudogynecomastia.
So what is Pseudogynecomastia?
Well! To put it in a nut shell Pseudogynecomastia is simply overweight and you have a build- up of what is called "adipose tissue" (which is a medical term for common every day FAT ) in and around the chest area.

Ultimately there is only one conclusive way to find out what condition you have Gynecomastia or Pseudogynecomastia and that is to attend a medical check-up. However, unless you are in a strong financial position seeking medical help and advice to getting rid of male boobs is unfortunately not so easy.
